Sway Control For a Aladdin Magic Lamp Trailer That Does Not Drill Into The Frame Rails

Question:

I have a vintage Aladdin Magic Lamp trailer that I want to add a sway control to. I dont want to drill into the trailer tongue so I am looking for a mount that clamps on. My trailer weight is 1675 lbs, ball weight is 150 lbs. according to the specifications I have. Any suggestions as to what I need? Thanks!

To add sway control to your Aladdin Magic Lamp trailer you have a couple choices that will not require you to drill into the frame on your trailers tongue.

First the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-0450. This system will work on trailers with a tongue weight up to 450lbs with a total trailer weight under 4,500lbs. So you will also be able to use this in the event you get or have another trailer. The brackets for the arms bolt around the trailers frame so no drilling is necessary.

The second option will only work if your trailer has electric brakes. The Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control # 335TSC-1000 uses your trailers brakes to correct sway. It activates the brakes for a split second when it senses trailer sway is about to occur to stop/reduce the sway.
