Parts Needed To Add a 7-Way Trailer Connector To a 2017 Ford Edge

Question:

Will be installing Harness Kit 118669, which has flat four connector. Trailer has 7 pole connector. Do you offer an adapter for this?

The Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 will allow you to plug the 4-way connector from the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118669 and adapt it to a 7-way connection. Also included with the Kit is the additional wiring needed to add a charge line and brake controller to your 2017 Ford Edge if the trailer has electric brakes and that is the reason it has the 7-way harness.

If you are needing a brake controller I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This unit is customizable and has a very easy to read LCD screen in the event there is an issue with the trailer brakes. It is also proportional so you will not have to constantly adjust the brake output for light and heavy braking.
