Recommended Disc Brake Kit for Trailer With Tandem 5200 lb Axles
Question:
I have duo axle Dexter 9163962 #11 5000 capacity axles. What would I need to put disc brakes on them

I suspect what you have is what's known as a 5200 lb axle.
Assuming your axle uses the 25580 inner and 15123 outer bearings which are typical on axles with capacities of 5200-6000 lbs, and your existing wheels have a 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern, the Kodiak # K2HR526D disc brake kit you'd looked at would work great for you.
The kit includes 2 hub/rotors, 2 brake calipers and 2 caliper mounting brackets as well as the bolts for mounting the calipers to the brackets. For a tandem axle trailer, you'll need 2 kits.
The # 25580 inner and # 15123 outer bearings aren't included but the races are, and they're already installed in the hubs. You'll also need the # RG06-070 grease seals. I'd also recommend Bearing Buddy bearing protectors, part # BB2441SS for stainless or # BB2441 for chrome plated.
To actuate the brakes, I'd recommend the HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator kit for disc brakes, part # HBA16-252-82. The kit includes the actuator, brake lines, and trailer breakaway system.
I've linked to some help articles and a video showing how the actuator kit works.
