Trailer Hitch Receiver Recommendation for 2022 Honda CR-V LX

I have a Honda CR-V LX and I would like to know what you think I should get for a trailer hitch. I plan on using it for towing in the near future. Thanks for your time.

For your 2022 Honda CR-V LX I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98848. This is a custom fit Class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a concealed cross tube to help maintain a factory look, and comes with a matte black finish. The finish really sets it apart from other hitches since it does a better job hiding dirt and scratches compared to a glossy finish. It has a max gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs and tongue weight of 525 lbs.

Since you will be using it for towing, I also recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118741. This wiring harness will plug into your existing wiring and provide you with a 4-way connection to power your trailer signal lights. When it comes to reliable wiring Tekonsha is the best.

In order to complete your setup you will also need a ball mount. Check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
