Availability of Replacement Hardware for Thule 250 Combibox
Question:
I have an old Thule 250 rooftop cargo box. Hasn’t been used for 20 years. The hardware doesn’t accommodate the 3” width of current roof racks. Which hardware would work? I have some holes 5” apart already drilled into the carrier

We do have an option that could work for your Thule 250 Combibox, but it is likely you will need to drill new holes to make the replacement hardware fit. The # TH04958 uses U-bolts to attach and is compatible with 3" cross bars.
You may also want the Loctite RTV 598 High-Performance Silicone Gasket Maker - Black - 2.7-Fl Oz Tube # LT37467 to fill any extra holes you might have.
