We can help you with a 5th wheel hitch for your 2022 Ram 3500 with the factory puck system, and you will indeed need one that goes directly in the pucks as opposed to connecting to the gooseneck ball (neither Reese or B&W makes one that connects to your OEM gooseneck ball). For your '22 Ram 3500, the best overall value is a 5th wheel hitch from Reese:

- Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package # RP30918

The Reese M5 # RP30918 is the best value because it combines quality and price better than any other 5th wheel hitch for your truck. The quality of the M5 comes in a number of different forms, starting with its Talon jaw system. This jaw system is different than other hitches because it is always ready to accept the king pin, so you can just back in and hook up, making it a lot easier to use than other hitches.

The Talon is also a single-piece jaw system, which means it will always fully envelop the king pin (as opposed to slack that can occur with a dual-jaw system); this greatly reduces how much your king pin moves in the hitch, giving you a more stable and comfortable ride.

The Reese M5 # RP30918 also has a handy color indicator system which will turn from red to green to let you know if the jaws on the hitch are locked around the king pin, taking any guesswork out of the equation. And the head of the M5 is able to be offset by 1-1/2" front or back so you have the optimal amount of turning clearance, giving you a little extra that will help, even with a trailer that is designed for turning clearance.
