Recommended Trailer Hitch For Carrying A Bike Rack On A 2022 VW Atlas
Question:
I recently traded my van for a 2022 VW Atlas and I need to get a hitch for it. I got an Inno Tire Hold bike rack from you guys a few years ago so I need a hitch that can handle the weight. What do you have available?

Expert Reply:
As the Inno Tire Hold 4 Bike Platform Rack # INH142 has a 2" shank, you will need a Class III hitch. With that said, you will need the Curt # C24ER. This American made hitch has a 900 pound maximum tongue weight capacity, but you will need to check your owner's manual for the max capacity of your Atlas. I included an install video we have of this getting put on a 2021 Atlas for you to check out as well.
