The Rightline Gear Sport 2 Rooftop Cargo Bag # RL100S20 that you referenced can be mounted on your Nissan Rogue with roof side rails. Cross bars are not required to use this bag.

Two of the straps cross the bag and attach to your side rails.

The best way to utilize the remaining two straps is to use a set of the Rightline Car Clips # RL100600. You thread the strap through the clips, drape the strap over the bag and the clips then attach to the open door frame. Pull the strap taut to secure.

Finally, as a preventative measure, check out the Rightline Non-Skid Protection Pad # RL100650. The pad measures 36 x 36 inches, and will protect against paint scratches that may occur from road dirt trapped between your cargo bag and your roof. We always recommend that you thoroughly clean the vehicle roof before installing the pad and cargo bag.
