Tow Bar and D-ring Bumper Mount for 2010 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
I have a 2010 Jeep JK with a Smittybilt 76892 XRC Atlas Front Bumper with D ring mounts. I am looking for a 5000lbs tow bar that I can hook directly to the D ring mounts on my bumper. Can you suggest a unit?

For a 5K rated tow bar, I suggest the Blue Ox Acclaim Non-Binding Tow Bar, # BX4330 with a 2" ball coupler. Then add the Blue Ox Aftermarket Off-Road Bumper Adapter, # BX88357 for a 7/8" Pin or, # BX88358 for a 1" pin D-ring.
For a hitch mounted tow bar, and my preferred set-up, I suggest the 6K rated Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar, # RM-520. Use the Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts to Roadmaster Motor Home Mount Tow Bars, # RM-035-1 for 1" Thick D-Rings. Or, # RM-035 for 3/4" D-Rings.
