Snow Tire Chain Options For My 2018 Chevrolet Suburban

Question:

Hi, I am new to tire chains, and the need for them. Floridians going to the mountains for 1 week february. We have a 2018 Chevy Suburban with 275/55 R20. Can you point me in the right direction? There is an equal balance in the reviews for every chain I looked at in your website. We need something fairly simple to install, durable, and good enough to keep the family safe on ice if need be. Please help?

The owner's manual for your 2018 Chevrolet Suburban lists your 275/55 R20 tires as not being compatible with snow tire chains on your vehicle due to clearance issues. As a result, if you use snow tire chains you do so at your own risk. But If you do, you would be better served using a Class S compatible snow tire chain. These snow tire chains are designed to fit wheel wells with tight clearances. That would eliminate the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains w/ Cams - Ladder Pattern - V-Bar Link - 1 Pair, part # TC2828CAM.

If you are interested in a Class S compatible snow tire chain, the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link - 1 Pair, part # TC2327, is an option. A better option for you might be the Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link - K-Summit XXL - Size K78, part # KON84FR, because it is a Class S Compatible snow tire chain that only attaches on the front of your tire, not the front and the rear.

I have included product description links and a video review link below.
