Upgrading wheels on a trailer is a pretty common thing to do, but you want to make sure you have the space to do so. You should have at least 3" from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender/wheel well and then around 1.5" between the tire's sidewall and the side of the fender/wheel well. This measurement is less important than the space at the top of the tire, but is still something to keep an eye on.

With that said, as the average 5.30x12 tire will have an outer diameter of 21.9" and the Kenda Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13" Black Mod Wheel - LR D # AM31990 will have an outer diameter of 24.1", you will want to make sure you still have this kind of space. Personally, I like black mod wheels and the # AM31990 is a higher capacity, so that is the one I would go with.
