How to Add 7-Way RV Wiring Harness to 2022 Nissan Frontier
Question:
I recently bought 118525 to fit my 2022 Nissan Frontier and activate the tow package. However I plan to eventually tow a travel trailer with electric brakes so would need a 7-pin connector. Please help me understand what else I would need to complete this install, as well as what bracket I would need to mount to the hitch receiver I bougt from you as well.

That you have the Curt Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, # C56225, is the first needed step. If you have not already installed this, please note the linked installation video below for assistance.
The next item needed is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller, # ETBC7. You will first install the 4-flat, which will power your trailer's lighting, and you'll then plug that into the 7-way that comes with the # ETBC7, which also gives you the wiring, circuit breakers, and rest of the hardware needed for a 7-Way RV plug.
Once this is done you will be ready to install a brake controller, I suggest the Tekonsha Prodigy P3, # 90195. The P3 will automatically adjust your trailer's braking based on deceleration and once installed, you do not need to adjust the settings as long as you leave it plugged in.
