First you will need a Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24965 to be able to carry a bike rack on your 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. This is needed as your E-Mountain Bike is going to weigh to much for a trunk mounted rack or roof rack option. I prefer the Draw-Tite over the Curt # C11402 as the crossbar is one solid piece and is not cut in half with the receiver tube welded in.
The Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack # KU64FR will carry one bike up to up to 60lbs with up to a 3" wide tire. Or you can use the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack # NV12B that will allow you to carry 2 bikes each up to 60lbs with a 3" wide tire.
The NV 2.0 is great as you also get a built in work stand that will allow you to easily make repairs to your bike. It also includes an extender strap that will allow you to carry one bike with tires up to 5" wide.
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56390 will allow you to use a set of Auxiliary Lights # C53201 so that the vehicles behind you will be able to have an unobstructed set of tail lights they can see. This is needed as your tail lights on your Sonata will likely be impaired by your bike.
