What I understand is that you are wanting to install a 30 amp RV receptacle at home, same as you would have on an RV power pedestal at the campsite. This type outlet is best sourced locally at your nearby hardware store. You will need to use at least 10 gauge wire for this. However, if you already have a 15 amp outlet available in your barn, you can use the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter that mates a 30 Amp Twist Lock Female to a 15 Amp Male, # A10-1530DBK. This allows you to easily adapt your RV's 30-amp power inlet for use with a 15-amp extension cord. Or, you can use the Power Grip RV Power Cord Adapter Plug, # CAM55223 on the end of your current RV power cord.

Neither of these options will of course provide you with a full 30 amps of 110 AC to your RV but if your intent is not to power the entire camper for full use but only to maintain battery charger, possibly operate the refrigerator and some lights when needed, this will be a cost effective alternative if a 15 amp out let is already available. I would not attempt to operate the air conditioner along with other items when using a 15 amp outlet, that would most likely trip your breaker.
