Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch For 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty Short Bed.
Question:
I have a 2019 Ford F250 Super Duty FX4- 6 1/2 foot bed with the Ford puck system. I will be inheriting a 35 foot 5th wheel travel trailer. I will not be traveling a great deal. Just getting the trailer to and from my deer lease and short trips. What slider hitch would you recommend. I do not want a cheap hitch but dont want an super expensive hitch either.

Depending on the weight of the 5th wheel I can't give an exact recommendation but 5th wheels can get up to 20,000 pounds or better but that is on the large end so I'll show you an 18,000 pound hitch and if you need a heavier duty or lighter duty get back to me and I can give you a specific solution.
I do recommend the patriot line of B and W. They are quality and strong. Like the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs # BWRVK3270. For this you will need the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter for Standard 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs # RP30156 to turn the pucks into industry standard rails.
If you need some more weight capacity we can look at the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w Slider for Ford Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20K # BWRVK3370
