Parts Needed to Add Hydraulic Disc Brakes to Triton Snowmobile Trailer
Question:
I would like to add brakes to a triton snowmobile trailer with dual axle 10 wheels, do you have a complete surge kit for this?

In order to find if a disc brake kit like the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 8" Rotor/Hub - 5 on 4-1/2 - Dacromet - 2,000 lbs # K2HR2D fits your Triton Snowmobile trailer you will need more information than just your wheel size. This kit is for 2,000 lb axles with a 4 bolt brake flange configuration. It uses a # L44649 inner and outer bearing. If your axle capacity and bearings match this, this is the right kit for you. If it does not, you will need to find a kit that matches.
In addition to the disc brake kit, you will need brake lines like the # 20TA-BLKIT and a hydraulic disc brake actuator. Your actuator should meet or exceed your GTW, so this information will also be necessary to make the right choice.
I have attached a link to all of our surge brake actuators for disc brakes that you can filter down based on weight capacity. I also included a link to all of our disc brake kits and a helpful article which outlines what is needed to add hydraulic brakes in greater detail that you can check out.
