Installing A 7-Way Socket On A 2017 Nissan Murano
Question:
Making estimate for wiring for 7 pole trailer plug for a 2017 Nissan Murano. I do not see one for the model vehicle. Im sure it would require one of the 4 pole kits and a a 7 pole female plug. Also would need to run seperate wires for braking and battery unless you have something else that would work.

To install a 7-way socket on your 2017 Nissan Murano you'll first need a 4-pole connector wiring harness installed. If you do not have one then you can use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118660. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your rear cargo area, behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to remove the rear threshold panel and some interior trim to access the harness.
Once you've plugged in the T-connector, find the 1-pin housing that is taped to the tail light harness on the driver's side and plug in the 1-pin connector on the T-One. Locate the fuse box under the hood of your vehicle and insert the provided 15-amp fuse into the 30A location.
Once this wiring harness is installed you can then install the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7 to get a 7-way socket.
I've attached installation videos for both of these wiring harnesses to assist you with the installation process. If you are not doing this yourself and would like help locating an installer near you then just click the "Locate Installers Near Me" link right under the product photos.
