Can the 4-Way on Trailer Wiring Harness 118526 be Routed to the Outside on a 2013 Kia Sportage
Question:
Can the tow light plug be mounted outside? Like to the tow hitch? If so, where do I find this plug? Thanks

If you look at the video I have linked showing a typical installation of the wiring harness # 118526, at about the 3:50 minute mark our installer begins running the wiring through a hole and out to the bottom of the vehicle. Normally the 4-Way stays inside the cargo area but if you wanted to you could try to run the 4-Way through this same hole. It may require additional sealant to keep out fumes.
Then you could use mounting brackets # 18144 and # C57202 to secure the 4-Way to the hitch.
