Replacement Mounting Hardware or U-Bolt for the Thule Adventurer Cargo Box

I need to replace 1 u bolt on this old Thule box. Is it possible to purchase 1 bolt? I also need to replace the two struts. Do you carry those?

We do have various replacement u-bolts for Thule Cargo boxes that are available by themselves. However, the original hardware for the Adventurer cargo box is actually # TH04997.

For u-bolts we have the following:

# TH02943, The center to center distance between each end of the u-bolt is 4 inches. It is 2 inches deep in the center.

For the Adventurer cargo boxes you can use the replacement hinge # TH14933. It is not the exact same part that is on the box (which is no longer made) but Thule has confirmed that the replacement hinge can be used in place of the struts.

The original hinges or struts are no longer available for the Thule Adventurer cargo boxes but the current ones, #TH14936, will fit and are what you should be using. There isn't a right and left and the orientation should not matter. It…

You would need 4 Carriage Bolt M6-1 x 75mm - Fully Threaded, part #TH10403. These are the replacement bolts that come in the Thule QM3 Quick On-Off Mounting Hardware Kit for Adventurer Cargo Box, part #TH04997.
