Recommended Wiring Size Kit for Trailer Winch Powered From Vehicle

Want to wire from my 2500 duramax to my new car hauler winch 9500 lbs. Winch quick connect make-female using 10 gauge wire. 10/3

I do have an option for you but 10 gauge wire is way too small for a winch, especially when you factor in the length of wire from the battery to the bumper. I recommend 1 gauge like what comes with the Bulldog Winch Rear Wiring Kit part # BDW20347. If you want to use your own wire you can purchase the Bulldog Winch Quick-Connect Set part # BDW20172.
