Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for Towing With 2022 Acura RDX
Question:
Can you tell me what I need to be able to tow with my 2021 Acura RDX?

The first thing you will need to be able to tow with your 2022 Acura RDX is a hitch. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C95CR. This is a custom fit Class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs and tongue weight of 350 lbs. This hitch features a gloss black powder coat finish and a limited lifetime warranty. Keep in mind, spare tires larger than 18" will not be able to be stored under the vehicle with the hitch installed.
The next thing you will need is wiring. The most reliable wiring comes from Tekonsha, and there are two options depending on what you have. If you have the plus 12-volt Power Provision you need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118800. If you do not have the plus 12-volt Power Provision you will need the # 118804 instead. Both of these will provide you with a 4-way connection to power your trailer's signal lights.
Finally, to complete your setup you will also need a ball mount. Check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also includes a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a bag to store everything in.
I have attached some review and installation videos for your reference.
