Installation of Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit on 2021 Ford Ranger
Question:
I have received my roadmaster baseplate RM-524459-5 for my 2021 ford ranger. I see in the FAQs above that is it compatible with the adaptive cruise control options, but want to know if the adaptive cruise control sensor which is right in the middle of the front bumper is mounted to the bumper and will come off with the bumper once unplugged, or if the sensor is mounted to something else that stays in place when the bumper is removed so that it is not disturbed during the bumper removal process.

We just happen to have an installation video of the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit, # RM-524459-5 on a 2021 Ford Ranger. Please note the linked video below. I believe it will remain intact with the bumper once the wire is disconnected.
