Hello: I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler with an offroad bumper. I am having a hard time knowing exactly what I need to set up a flat tow system. I tried the website, but I could not get a complete package to show up. Thank you,

For your 2000 Jeep Wrangler, we have a few options for you. Since you mentioned you have an off-road bumper, you're going to need some adapters to connect to your tow bar. If you have 1" thick shackle mounts, you're going to want to use # RM-035-1, or, if you have 3/4" thick shackle mounts, you're going to want to use # RM-035.

Along with adapter brackets, you're going to need a tow bar, a braking system, tow bar wiring, and a high low adapter.

For a tow bar, I recommend the Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain # RM-676. This tow bar is compatible with the D-ring adapters, and includes integrated LED lights to make hooking up and disconnecting easy in the dark. These bars are American made, and is crafted from aircraft grade aluminum.

Next, for a braking system, I recommend the Roadmaster Even Brake # RM-9400. This is an easy to install, portable system that will simply sit in front of the driver's seat, and utilize your vehicle's 12 volt accessory port to power the unit.

Following a braking system, you're going to need wiring. I recommend the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154. This is a simple to install universal wiring kit, that connects your RV's taillights, brakes, and turn signals to your toad vehicle.

Finally, you're more than going to need a high-low adapter. Reason being, is that most of the time your RV is going to sit higher than your toad vehicle, so to alleviate that issue you should use a high low adapter like # RM-048-4. You're going to want to measure your rise and drop first, however.
