Is Adapter Needed to Mount Thule Force XT L or Motion Cargo Box to Xsporter Pro Shift Rack

Hi - Do you need any adaptors to use the Thule Force XT L or Thule Motion XT L with the Thule Xsporter Pro Shift Overhead Rack? Thanks!

Since the base rails of the Thule Xsporter Pro Shift Overland Truck Bed Rack # TH54RR are 3-1/2" wide x 1-1/2" tall, you will not need any type of adapter to mount either Thule cargo box, the Thule Motion XT # TH629707 or the Thule Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6357B.
Both cargo boxes fit crossbars up to 3-1/2" wide x 1-11/16" tall, so they will absolutely fit the Xsporter Pro Shift # TH54RR.
Between the two cargo boxes, I would go with the Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6357B as it's the better value. They give you the same 16 cu ft of cargo space, and both are simple installs onto the rack, but the Force overall gives you more for your money.
