No Signals At Trailer Connector on 2003 Subaru Legacy Outback

Question:

2003 subaru outback wagon. With my trailer DISCONNECTED .... my test lights indicate NO output from the left and right blinker/brake outputs at the auto connector. The tail light output indicates about 30 volts ?? Help !

It sounds as if your taillight converter might be cooked. Trace the wires back from the trailer connector until you find the converter box. Use your tester to test the green and yellow wires going INTO the box. If you get a signal heading into the box but not on the output side, the harness will need to be replaced. I would recommend using the Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # C59496.
