Does etrailer Hitch for 2022 Subaru Outback Install Require Removal of Rear Bumper Fascia  

Question:

The video shows the installation of a Curt trailer hitch and it can be slid in between the frame and the OE bumper. Can the eTrailer version also be slid in? Your website states removing the bumper cover is required.

The etrailer hitch # e25TR does install basically the exact same as the Curt hitch # C67JR that fits your 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon but we have to recommend you follow install instructions which does include removing the rear fascia. It also requires a bit of fascia trimming. I was not able to find an install video for the # C67JR so I am not totally sure what video you watched.
