The hitch that I recommend for your 2022 Toyota Highlander is going to be the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C99FR which is confirmed to fit your 2022 Toyota Highlander whether it is the XSE model or not. This hitch is made in the USA, has a bolt-on, no-drill installation and will provide you with a 2" receiver opening which is the most common size used for hitch mounted accessories such as ball mounts, bike racks and cargo carriers.

For a 4-way trailer wiring harness I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK99FR. The T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the trim panel near the driver's side rear seat belt bracket. You will have to pull back the side trim panel to access this harness. Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. To keep your 4-way up off of the ground and in an easy to access location I recommend picking up the No-Drill Mount # 18140 and Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144 which will allow you to mount your 4-way to your hitch.
