Bike Rack Recommendation for Aventon Aventure e-Bikes

Question:

I just purchased two Aventon Adventure ebikes. Their weight with batteries removed is about 64 lbs and the wheel based measures out at 45. Do you have a rack in stock hat you recommend for these bikes. I have a class 3 bike hitch on a 2014 Infinity QX 60. Thanks,

I really like the Yakima OnRamp # Y36FR because it has an ample amount of space between the bikes and the mounting clamps are attached to the middle of the rack instead of on one side so it will be easier to configure them. This can handle up to 66 lb bikes which will be perfect for your application (although it is recommended to remove the batteries during transit), can accommodate up to a 50" wheelbase, and will work with 3.25" wide tires, but you can add the Fat Tire Straps # Y23FR which then will let you work with tire sizes up to 26x 4.5", 27.5" x 4.5" and 29 x 3.25".

The OnRamp comes with a ramp for easy loading and a cable lock to help deter theft of your bikes. If you'd like to add a lock to the bike rack itself then you can do that with the HitchLock # Y07235.
