Is There a Custom 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2004 Ford Ranger

Question:

I have a 2004 ford ranger edge and recently got a 5th wheel trailer small enough for the ranger to pull been looking for a kit and was wondering if this kit would work i have a 93’ salem by cobra 21rb incase this helps most people said to get a custom kit

I do have an option for you but there are no custom fit fifth wheel install kits for a 2004 Ford Ranger. Therefore, universal ones like the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit part # C16200 which is what I recommend are the only option. This will allow you to use a fifth wheel hitch like the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16115. Please note, you'll need to make sure the loaded trailer does not exceed the towing capacity of the vehicle and you'll need to make sure the pin weight does not exceed the GAWR or payload. If not, you should be good to go.
