For a hitch for your 2021 Dodge Durango, I recommend the Curt Hitch Receiver - 2" # C13182. The Curt hitch is compatible with all Durango models and comes with all mounting hardware required for a bolt-on installation. As far as weight capacity, the hitch has a 600 pound maximum tongue weight and a 6,000 pound gross towing rating. In order to confirm whether your vehicle can accommodate this much weight, I recommend confirming your vehicle's weight capacity with you owner's manual. If you plan on towing, in addition to the hitch, you will need a ball mount and ball like what is included in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches - 2-3/4" Rise or 4" Drop # 989892.

For 7-way wiring, you need to make sure you already have a 4-way harness already installed. If you do not have a 4-way installed, you need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118617. The T-One includes a ModuLite power converter to ensure that your vehicle's wiring matches that of your trailer.
