Bike Rack Solutions for Carrying Two Lectric Step Thru E-Bikes

Hello, I have two lectric brand step thru ebikes that weigh 63lbs each. They have 3inch tires. My concerns is that this rack states it is for 60lb bikes. What do you advise? Thank you

You could use the RockyMounts MonoRail part # RKY10004 with your Lectric step thru bikes if there was a way to reduce the weight by at least 3 lbs. Typically pulling the battery out does the trick.

Otherwise you'd need to go with a bike rack that has a higher weight capacity like the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 which has a 65 lb per bike capacity and was designed for carrying e-bikes like yours that have step thru frames. This also has a ramp that pulls out to make loading and unloading bikes easier as well. I attached a review video for this for you to check out too.
