I don't have any reliable way of looking up the exact axle capacity of your Jayco Eagle Designer 35rlts, but given the 15800 GVWR and the 2350 lb pin weight specifications I found in my research, chances are you have tandem 7K axles.

A 7K axle would typically use a 25580 inner/14125A outer wheel bearing. You can pull one of your hubs to confirm this. If you indeed have that bearing set, you've confirmed that you have 7K axles.

You'll next want to confirm the inside diameter and depth of your hubs/drums which should be 12 inches x 2 inches. If that's the case, you'd want to use a 12 x 2 brake assembly. I'd recommend the etrailer brand left and right 12 x 2 self-adjusting brake assemblies, part # AKEBRK-7-SA which are very similar to the Dexter assemblies you currently have. The only major differences are the lower cost, and the brake shoe construction. The etrailer brake shoes use a softer compound so they 'bed' or break in more quickly.

Self adjusting brakes are definitely the way to go, once they've been initially adjusted you'll always have optimal braking performance.

If you have different capacity axles, as long as the inside dimensions of your brake drums are 12 x 2 inches, the # AKEBRK-7-SA brake assemblies will work great for you, as they are designed for 5200, 6000 or 7000 rated axles.

I'll link to our help article that explains how to bed in the brakes once they're installed. I'll also link to an install video.
