Thanks for that info, and yes, you can transfer the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package # BWRVK3305 into your F-350 without the puck system, you will simply need a new base, as well as the mounting base for your truck. So here is exactly what you will need, depending on if you have a long bed (fixed base) or short bed (sliding base):
- Long Bed: Replacement Base for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVB3500
or
- Short Bed: Replacement Slider Base for B&W Companion Slider 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVB3405
- Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1108-5W
This will allow you to mount the Companion in your F-350, just keep in mind these bases have a 20,000 lb capacity, which is standard for the non-puck system Companions.
