Curt Q20 For Nissan Titan XD Towing Prep Package Compatibility With 2016 Nissan Titan XD 6.5' Bed

Question:

I notice the Curt Q20 5th wheel is stated in the description as being setup for the 2017 Titan XD factory attachment points, but with my 2016 Titan XD being entered for the search it’s saying it does not fit or not verified to fit. What is the difference? Will it fit? I have have the factory mount points in the bed.

The reason the Curt Q20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Nissan Titan XD Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20,000lbs # C16530-16026 shows as not a fit is because your 2016 Nissan Titan XD does not have an 8' bed. Anything shorter than 8' bed would require a sliding hitch or rotating pin box to prevent the nose of your 5th wheel from coming into contact with the cab of your truck.
