Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller for 2018 2WD GMC Canyon

I have a 2018 2wd GMC Canyon with the factory tow package. I tow a 5x8 dump trailer occasionally... to pick up some rock, or a trip to the dump, etc. The Redarc liberty looks like a great choice for my needs. 1 Do you agree with my choice? 2 Which wiring harness do I need? 3 Can I use the round button bezel with the liberty? Thanks for your help and advice?

Yes, I do agree with your choice it sounds like you have done your research. The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller item # RED24FR is a great brake controller and would work well for your application. It is a proportional brake controller that works with electric or electric over hydraulic brakes. You will need the Universal Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers item # RED69FR for your 2018 GMC Canyon. The main unit of the brake controller is able to be mounted inconspicuously where ever you want inside your Canyon. This allows you to wire in the round control knob in an easily accessible location like your dash or center console.
