Roof Rack Options for a 2017 Mini Cooper

From the photo you sent in it looks like your 2017 Mini Cooper F56 has a naked roof which means you'll need to use the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack # 298-SX6000B. This uses powerful vacuum cups to secure to the roof of your vehicle which allows you to get your crossbars in the best place possible.
If you happen to have the flush mount rails then I recommend going with the Thule WingBar Evo crossbar system instead. This gives you more of that standard roof rack fit that secures directly to the rails on your roof:
