Can the Thule Lock Cylinder be Used on the SportRack Aero XL Cargo Box
Question:
Can the Thule lock cylinder be used to replace/retrofit the lock cylinder in the SportRack Aero XL cargo Box? Or is there anyway to replace/retrofit the SportRack Aero XL lock with a Thule version? Thanks!

Yes, the Thule Replacement Lock Cylinder # THLOCKN113 will work in Sportrack lock cylinders. If the key number on your cargo box ends with 113 then the # THN113 would be the correct replacement lock cylinder for your application. If you have a different key number you would need to enter the following part number into our search box THNXXX where the Xs would be the number you would need.
To get your old lock cylinder out you will need a Thule Universal Change Key # 853-1251. To see how to replace the lock cylinder using the change key check out the video I attached.
