Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2019 Chevy Colorado in Matte Black
Question:
To whom it may concern, I am looking for a hitch that I can put onto my 2019 Chevrolet Colorado WT Work Truck. It is an Extended Cab 2.5l 4cyl. I want it in Matte Finish Black and retain my spare tire with the partial guard between the spare tire and the exhaust system. I want the Hitch to be at least a Class III 3. I would like to see your two highest options for tongue weight. 800 lbs and 1,000 lbs if you have it if not okay.

We can accommodate all of your requests, and there is one option for a Class III trailer hitch receiver in Matte Black that fits your 2019 Chevy Colorado:
- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98909
This hitch has an 8,000 lb towing and 800 lb tongue weight, which is the second-highest tongue weight capacity of any hitch for your Colorado. There is only one hitch that has a higher, 900 lb tongue weight capacity, which is from Curt:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13203
However, the Curt hitch is a glossy black and not a matte black finish like you were wanting. Unless you really need that extra 100 lbs of tongue weight, I do think the matte black # e98909 is a better option as it does a nicer job of hiding things like the inevitable scuffs and scratches. Otherwise, both hitches do allow you to keep your spare tire mounted, as well as the guard between the spare and exhaust.
