For your 2022 Kia Telluride I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e45ZR. This hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight capacity of 5,000lbs and maximum tongue weight capacity of 750lbs to safely haul your furniture and other possessions while moving. The sturdy steel construction is protected with a matte black finish for added durability. This unique powder coating gives etrailer hitches a carbide-like appearance and a rugged look that sets them apart from traditional glossy hitches. In addition to being rust and corrosion resistant, the tough matte coating hides dirt, scuffs, and dings better than a glossy finish. This hitch is a bolt on design that requires no welding to attach it to your frame.
Since you'll be hauling a trailer you will most likely also need a ball mount kit. I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches - 7,500lbs Item # 989900. It's a great starter kit with a 1-7/8" hitch ball and 2" hitch ball. The shanks will provide a drop of 2" or 4" and a rise of 1" or 3" to keep your trailer level while towing.
For your trailer lights you'll need a 4-pole connector. If you do not have one, then I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # CU94FR. This custom-fit connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side interior trim panel in your rear cargo area. You can secure the 4-pole connector to your trailer hitch using the Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144.
We also carry ratchet straps like the ProGrip Ratchet Tie-Down Straps - S-Hooks - 1" x 10' - 300lbs - Qty 4 # 317-309590 to help secure objects on your trailer as well. The S-hooks allow hassle-free connection to anchor points and are coated so you won't scratch or scuff your gear and equipment.
