Troubleshooting the Hopkins Tail Light Converter Kit # HM48925 on 2004 Nissan Xterra
Question:
I recently asked this question: Converter on my Nissan Xterra. I have all led lights on my Xterra. The converter is wired correctly, but when I hit my brake pedal the turn signal indicators on the dash come on. The turn signals still work but both indicators come on with braking. What is causing this is it because I have led lights on my vehicle? You have me the number of the correct plug I needed because of my LED tail lights. I thought you also told me about some resistors I could install one my turn signal wires to correct this issue instead of fitting a new harness. Its there a way to fix this issue with resistors?

The Hopkins Tail Light Converter Kit with 4-Way Flat Connector - LED Compatible # HM48895 that I gave as the answer previously is designed specifically for use with vehicles LED lights.
The resistor that some of our customers have had success with are the Load Resistor Kit for LED Turn Signals - 50 Watts - 6 Ohm - Qty 2 # DI34ZR. These load resistors prevent hyperflashing on turn signals with LED light bulbs.
