How Can I Carry My Rad Power Fat Tire E-bike On My Existing Hitch Bike Rack

Question:

Your E Biker rack should of been built to hold E Bikes with Beach/Mountain type wheels and tires. Our bikes are built by RADD and they have larger tires. None of the straps will work and the tires wont sit down in the cradles

We can address the strap issue. Yakima does offer the Fat Tire Straps for Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack - Qty 2, part # Y23FR, if the standard straps are not long enough. However, you are correct in your assessment of the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack. It should be able to hold tires wider than 3,25" and I am not sure why that was not addressed. If you are not comfortable with how your tires sit in the cradles of the Yakima OnRamp, I do have another option.

I recommend going with the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount, part # TH903202, and the Fat Bike Straps for Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack - Qty 2,part # TH985101. If you include the Fat Bike Straps with the Thule EasyFold Bike Rack, you can transport bikes with tires up to 4-11/16" wide. Please keep in mind that you would need a set of straps for each bike. The Thule EasyFold is a slightly more expensive bike rack but it makes up for it with its extra features. In addition to carrying e-bikes with wider tires, it can be folded and rolled. This makes it easier to transport to your vehicle for installation or removal. The EasyFold has locking clamps, instead of a cable, making your bikes more secure. It also has reflectors on the rear of the rack, making it easier to see if you are transporting bikes at night.

I have included product description links and video review links below.
