Recommended Replacement 5.2K Square 89" Trailer Axle

Question:

Hello! I need a trailer axle. My boat trailer has a 3x2 square single axle with a 3 . Spring center length 184 cm 72, hub facing length 89. Drum brake with LM67048, 25580 bearings. Spindle was damaged. I want to replace the axle with a straight square without lowering. 5200 lbs or more. Install it over the spring. Do you have such an axle? I found you have a 71 1/2 inch spring center axis. Will it fit? How do I change the spring mount so that the axle fits over it? K71-403-00 and CE23103 ? Thank You!

I do have an option for you but we only offer round axles in the size you need, the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam part # 8327820 would be a great option. It matches the 89" spring center but you will need to cut and move the spring seats to your 72" requirement. I also recommend new seats for this as well, part # TRSS300. The axles can be flipped with a new u-bolt kit, the U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb, Round Trailer Axles part # APUBR-9.
