Installing Draw-Tite Activator II Brake Controller on 2003 Ford Pickup
Question:
HI All, I have come across some great information on your website. I appreciate all you do. One of the photos in one of your answers, in addition to the brake controller connector, it has another connector pictured next to it. Out of curiosity, what is it? Today would you be able to help with me easiest adaptor/installation for an Activator II controller? I bought it used and appears it has different connector on end, somebody must have changed it.

If you are speaking of the connector just to the left of the brake controller connector, unfortunately, I do not know its purpose.
If your Activator II controller has a plug on it that is not compatible with the Ford connector under the dash, you can cut the existing connector off the controller, and use a # 3035-P wiring adapter and cut off the black connector. Then use butt connectors to connect the controller the brake controller wiring harness. The harness would easily connect to your brake controller, color for color.
