How to Determine Proper Replacement Wheel Studs and Lug Nuts

Question:

Hi Folks: I have a 2019 Jayco North Point 387RDFS. It has 7,000 pound Deter axles. I need to replace several of the wheel studs and lug nuts. To help with determining size, my wheels use your Grease Seal - Double Lip - 2.250inch ID - 3.376inch OD - GS-2250DL Item # GS-2250DL, and the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 12inch - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 7K Item # 23-464-465 Can you tell me if the Kodiak Wheel Bolt - 9/16inch Diameter x 2-1/2inch Long Item # K916WB25 is the correct stud bolt, and if Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - 9/16inch Diameter - Zinc Plated Item # 6-53 is the correct lug nut. If not, can you tell me your part numbers for both the correct wheel bolts and lug nuts? Thanks very much.

The best way I can provide the proper wheel studs and lug nuts would be for you to drive out one of the existing studs and take some measurements off of it. There are several dimensions I will need in order to recommend the proper replacement for you.

I'll provide you a diagram showing the dimensions I need. Because these measurements need to be very precise, you'll want to use a digital caliper like part # PTW80157. I've also provided these dimensions for the # K916WB25, you can compare those to your existing studs to see if they're compatible.

If you can provide me with that information, I'd be happy to look through the wheel studs/lug nuts we offer and recommend something that will work for you.
