Step 8 of the instructions for the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver item # e98867 state to torque the M12 hardware to 79 lb-ft and the 1/2" hardware to 110 lb-ft. I recommend getting the 50-150 ft lbs torque wrench. I have linked the instructions and an installation video of this hitch receiver being installed on a 2017 Ford Explorer. These specifications may be changed by the manufacturer.
If you are needing a wiring harness I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118540. The T-One connector plugs directly into existing wiring behind your Ford Explorer's rear tail lights. This requires no cutting, splicing, or tapping of wires. I have also linked an install video for this part.
To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" Ball, a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop, and is rated for up to 7,500 lbs. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
