Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2021 Ford Bronco for Spare Tire Clearance
Question:
I'm looking for a hitch to add to my 2021 Ford Bronco. I have a spare on the back so I need one that will let me have clearance for towing and my bike rack without an extension. Thanks for helping me out.

In order to get the clearance you need for your bike rack on your 2021 Ford Bronco I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT37GR. This Class III hitch has a 2" receiver and bolts onto your rear bumper beam. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 4,500 lbs and tongue weight of 675 lbs. Make sure to consult your owner's manual so you know what your vehicle is capable of. More than likely the hitch capacity will exceed your vehicle's capacity.
Since you will be using this for towing, I also recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK99VR. This plugs directly into existing wiring, giving you a 4-way connection to power your trailer's signal lights. We have found the Tekonsha wiring to be the most reliable.
If you need a ball mount, the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 is a great choice. This kit has two different ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and one with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
I have attached some review and installation videos that you can check out.
