Re-Routing Exhaust for a Hitch on a 2003 Mercury Marauder
Question:
Have just purchased a 2003 mercury maruader with DUAL exhaust. With out having to relocate my exhauset system will your hitch fir my car? I willl need a hitch that can take a 2 inch ball. Someone told me that the exhaust would have to be redone and moved??? Thanks

I looked up the instructions for a couple hitches we have for your 2003 Mercury Marauder, and called the manufacturers of all the hitches we available. You would have to slightly modify the exhaust system. On the passenger side, you would unbolt an exhaust hanger, and re-bolt it to the hitch once installed. It is actually very easy, the bolt location is only moving a few inches. You should not have to cut or weld any of the exhaust.
