Best Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2018 Ford F-250 Super Duty
Question:
I Have a 2018 F-250 and the factory hitch must be wearing out. I pull a 28 foot 11,000 TT fully loaded with a tongue weight of approximately 1,200-1,300 lbs and already the pin hole on the hitch is elongating to the point it is very sloppy. The factory hitch is a class V a tow weight of 15,000 lbs and tongue weight if 1,500 lbs. My question is what hitch should I buy that is built better than the factory hitch and wont give me the same problem?

There are two options which are going to be an improvement over the factory trailer hitch receiver on your 2018 Ford F-250 Super Duty, and will absolutely prevent your hitch pin hole from elongating. The first one is truly the best, with the trade-off being it has the higher cost, and that's a hitch from TorkLift:
- TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLF1008-30
The SuperHitch Magnum # TLF1008-30 has dual receivers, both of which are designed with reinforced hitch pin holes specifically to prevent elongation from wear so you won't experience the same thing as you have with your factory hitch. It is truly a beast of a hitch, with a 2,500 lb tongue weight capacity and 20,000 lb towing capacity so it is plenty robust to handle whatever your F-250 can tow.
The only other option I recommend checking out for your 2018 F-250 is a hitch from B&W:
- B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver # BWHDRH25602
B&W is well-known for producing the highest quality towing products, so whenever somebody is looking for something that is well-built, they are a go-to. That's the case here with the # BWHDRH25602, which is a Class V, 2" hitch with a 1,600 lb tongue weight capacity and 16,000 lb towing capacity so it will meet the towing needs of your F-250.
