Does the Bumper Beam Get Re-Installed On a BMW 2 Series with Curt Hitch C11367
Question:
Hi. I purchased the Curt 11367 and had it installed on my BMW per above. I was surprised when the bumper beam wasnt reinstalled on the vehicle along with the hitch by the installer. I downloaded the manufactures instructions and they say the bumper needs to be reinstalled along with the hitch. I know some hitches replace the manufactures bumper beam, but I dont think this is one of them. Any thoughts?

In regards to the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11367 which is a fit for a BMW 2 Series, the bumper beam will be re-installed once the trailer hitch is placed over the bumper beam studs. The hitch will be sandwiched between the body and bumper beam but it will be reinstalled per Curt.
