The B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # BWRVK3270 is my recommendation for a 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 with 6-1/2' bed. The B&W Patriot has a thick dual jaw design to grip the kingpin tight which ensures a safe and smooth ride. It has an easy to remove head which will save your back getting the hitch in and out of the truck bed. It also has a cam-action handle which makes uncoupling on uneven terrain easy. It will require the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # BWRVK2506 for installation. I also recommend adding the 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness part # 50-97-410 for easy hookups.
